Private hire available starting at £1,150 for a 4 hour period. If you’d like further information on this option please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

We can provide a range of food & drink options to suit your requirements.
We offer the following choices as standard, but please let us know if you’d like something bespoke!
Cold lunch buffet - £12.50 per person
A selection of sandwiches with a festive twist to include meat, vegetarian & vegan options served alongside salad and potato crisps.
Non-gluten-containing options available upon request.
Fresh fruit basket, mince pies and festive traybake. Jugs of fruit juice and chilled water.
Hot & cold lunch buffet - £17.50 per person
A selection of sandwiches with a festive twist to include meat, vegetarian & vegan options served alongside salad and potato crisps.

A selection of hot buffet food such as mini pizzas, onion bhaji, samosa, veg spring roll, mini quiche, falafels. Chips or potato wedges and onion rings.

Premium canapés - £10 per person
A bite-size selection from our varying menu of premium cocktail canapés.
5 items per person. Dessert canapés are also available for an additional fee.

Drinks packages
Our Group Booking packages above include drinks as standard. Should you wish to add additional drinks, the following options are available:
We can operate a cash bar where your group may purchase their own drinks via cash or card.
We can operate a tab system where we will hold a pre-authorised bank card behind the bar. Your group can purchase unlimited drinks (up to an agreed maximum spend if required) and we will then charge the card at the end of the event.
Alternatively, prepaid drink tokens are available for purchase (minimum purchase of 24 tokens)
Hot drink tokens - £2 each
Valid for tea, coffee & hot chocolate (excludes iced coffee, liqueur coffee and premium hot drinks)
Basic drink tokens - £4 each
Valid for bottled beers/ciders, glass of wine or festive mulled wine (various soft drinks and no/low alcohol options also available
Premium drink tokens - £5 each

The small print
The following terms and conditions apply to Group Booking Packages in addition to our standard terms and conditions (published at https://moviescape.co.uk/terms-and-conditions).
Where there is any discrepancy, the below terms and conditions will take precedence.
Our escape rooms can accommodate a maximum of 24 players at any one time. For larger groups we can schedule multiple sessions on a rotation basis.
The number of escape rooms is determined by the number of players.
8 players - 1 escape room
9-16 players - 2 escape rooms
17-24 players - 3 escape rooms
We’re happy to accommodate smaller groups but the booking will be priced based on the numbers above.
All group booking packages are subject to availability; we reserve the right to alter published package pricing without prior notice due to operational constraints.
There is a 7 day cancellation policy for all group bookings, we can reschedule to another date or issue a refund (minus 5% admin fee) should you provide a minimum of 7 days notice before the event date. After that time, there is a 50% cancellation fee.
If your booking includes catering and you request to cancel with less than 7 days notice, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee if our supplier has already incurred costs relating to preparing your order. This fee may be up to an additional 50% of the original booking value, meaning that no refund would be issued in this instance.
Should you wish to reserve sessions prior to finalising your booking we require payment of a non-refundable £45 deposit per escape room session. If you decide not to proceed with your booking, although we cannot provide a refund, if you provide us with a minimum of 7 days notice we will allow the value of your deposit to be applied to a future booking, no later than 6 months after the original event date. If you provide less than 7 days notice, no refund, reschedule or credit will be given.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Group packages are not available to book online and must be booked directly with our Events Team by filling in the online enquiry form or contacting us by telephone or email. Gift vouchers, promotion codes, credit notes or any other offer may not be applied to Group packages. Please note that any standard escape room booking via our website does not include event planning support from our team and a charge will be made for any additional services.
Our venue operates a ‘Challenge 25’ policy. If any member of your group appears to be under the age of 25, they will be asked to provide photographic ID before being served any product containing alcohol. If they are unable to produce valid ID, or if our staff do not believe that the ID belongs to that person, they will not be served alcohol. No refund will be available in this instance.
The person making the booking accepts full responsibility for any damage (whether deliberate or accidental) caused to the escape room or any other area of our premises by any person who has attended as part of your group.
Please be mindful of other groups and do not allow any member of your group to make excessive noise or act in a rowdy manner in the reception area/lounge, corridors or toilets. We understand that a certain amount of mess is unavoidable. However, any excessive mess such as food trodden into the carpet /furniture/walls or large spillages of drinks will result in a cleaning charge being levied on the person who made the booking. Party poppers, piñatas, streamers, indoor fireworks and other similar items are not permitted on our premises. You are not permitted to affix any item to the wall, floor or ceiling except by prior arrangement if you have booked Private Hire of the venue. The use of tape, glue, pins etc is not permitted and may result in a charge being levied. Children remain the responsibility of an adult at all times and must not be allowed to move around the premises unaccompanied.
All participants are required to complete an online pre-registration form prior to the start of the event. This form sets out player rules and code of conduct that participants must abide by at all times. Any participants who do not complete the form will not be permitted to participate in the experience.
We do not tolerate abusive, discriminatory or disruptive behaviour from any person on our premises. If any member of your group behaves in a manner that is deemed by our staff to be abusive, discriminatory or disruptive they will be required to leave our premises and will not be permitted re-entry. No refund will be issued in this instance. No discussion will be entered into and the decision of our Duty Manager will be final.
You must arrive on time for the start of your event or escape room experience. If you arrive late, we may not be able to extend the finish time of your booking, in which case the duration of your experience will be reduced. If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, we may cancel the experience entirely and no refund will be issued. If it is possible for us to extend your time, an additional fee will apply which must be settled prior to any extension being granted.
We do not provide our own car parking facilities. There is a free car park located outside Welkin Mill which is owned and operated by the building management. We cannot make any guarantees that there will be space available in this car park and we regret that we cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to vehicles while in the car park. Motorists park at their own risk. We advise that you carefully plan your travel to and from our venue.
Please note that the access road to Welkin Mill is unlit and has some uneven surfaces.
As standard only food and drink that has been purchased from ourselves is permitted to be consumed on our premises.
The only exception is birthday/celebration cakes which we are happy to accommodate with advance notice. We reserve the right to charge a small fee for the use of our crockery and utensils to serve your cake if you are not also purchasing refreshments from us.
If you have booked Private Hire of our venue, you are welcome to bring in your own food and drink subject to a corkage fee. Please note that our team cannot handle or prepare any external food and drink and we do not have kitchen space or refrigeration/cooking facilities for you to use.

If any member of your group has an allergy or intolerance, the person making the booking, or the adult supervising the children is responsible for ensuring that they do not consume any food or drink product unless you/they are certain that it is safe to do so.
We regret that we cannot offer catering for individuals with a severe food allergy/intolerance.
If any members of your group have a severe food allergy and the rest of the group are being catered for by us, we are happy for you to bring your own food for the person with the allergy/intolerance as long as this is agreed in advance. We regret that our team cannot handle or prepare any external food or drink, and we do not have any refrigeration or cooking facilities available for you to use.
